Helping Asian Americans become leaders in the commercial real estate & facility industries
We are excited to announce ACP’s first in-person program of the year!
Thanks to our friends at Perkins & Will, we will be touring an exciting project, Building 12 at Pier 70 in San Francisco. Pier 70 is the historic shipyard at Potrero Point. It was the largest shipyard in the West.
About Building 12
Building 12 is a historic 120,000 square feet, 60’ tall two-story, steel framed warehouse structure with metal siding used for ship repair and construction during World War II. The entire structure will be lifted approximately ten feet upwards from its current 1st floor level (see below photo) and a new basement level will be constructed underneath to match future park and street grades around the building. It will receive significant modifications. The new overall gross square footage of Building 12 will be approximately 230,000 square feet.
