Alan joined ACP in the early years of the organization and as a board member helped shape it’s vision and direction. Initially he created the ACP accounting/treasury structure and soon after became an active member of the scholarship committee. This helped expand the ACP’s reach by helping working professionals gain their key Real Estate or Facilities Management certifications. He also created the ACP Mentoring program to help quickly advance professional careers by leveraging the considerable ACP knowledge base.
Alan has been an important founder and leader of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) where he continues to be a member of the board of directors.
When he is not working or volunteering for the industry you might find Alan sport fishing, driving one of his custom cars, traveling to exotic places (never going to the same place twice!), or discovering new foodie sensations. Even in his personal life Alan is an active volunteer for local fishing organizations, lobbying government to protect the rights of sport fisherman.
Alan is never satisfied with the status quo. His passion for learning and high achievement is evident in his work and personal life.
